Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have changed my hard disk to SSD. For installation of Windows 10 in the SSD it requires product key. But I do not know the product key for windows10.I know only the laptop serial number and product code. Kindly help in getting the product key for Windows 10

Hi:

 

The Windows product key is in your notebook's BIOS. 

 

You don't need it to reinstall W10.

 

Also, your PC is supported by the HP cloud recovery tool which you can use to create a bootable USB recovery drive that will reinstall W10, the drivers and the software that originally came with your PC.

 

Here is an info link for how to use that utility...you will need to have access to another PC running Windows 7 64 bit or newer and a 32 GB USB flash drive to create the recovery media with.
