HP Netbook 15-ay011nr
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

I recently downgraded my preinstalled windows 10 to windows 7. I installed all of the drivers provided by HP for Windows 7 for 15-ay011nr, and all seemed to install. However, there appears to be no USB drivers. I need the driver for Universal Serial Bus (USB) Controller Win 7 Home Premium 64bit for 15-ay011nr. Thanks.

When I try to install the driver, I get an error reading: The computer does not meet the minimum requirements for installing the software. I don't know why that is.

Windows might be able to find the drivers you need.

Open device manager, and find the usb controller you need the drivers for. Double click it, and then click on the driver tab. There should be an option called update driver. Click this, and in the window that pops up select the option the search automatically for updated driver software. Hopefully, windows will find the driver. Let me know how it goes.

I also purchased a laptop with windows 10 installed, and I really want windows 7 back. Did it cost anything to downgrade to windows 7 or was it free?

Thank you! This did the trick!

I had to purchase windows 7, although it all depends on what version you have. I used this site to help downgrade: http://www.groovypost.com/howto/downgrade-windows-10-to-windows-7-windows-81/
