Hi. I have Hp Elitebook 8470p. And OS is MS win 10 pro 32bit. When i try to open camera this error has coming. we can't find your camera check to be sure it's connected and installed properly, that it isn't being blocked by anti-virus software, and that you camera driver are up to date.

Try a couple of the easy fixes first.

 

Go to Search bar (Cortana) and type Device Manager, then hit the Enter key.

In the list, look for Cameras and expand the arrow. Right click on the webcam and uninstall it.

If its not there, look for Imaging Devices and do the same thing there.

The go to the Action tab above and click on Scan for hardware changes.

 

Test the camera. IF it still does not work...

In the Search bar, type Control Panel and hit the Enter key.

Go to   Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Troubleshooting\All Categories.

Click on Windows Store Apps.

In the new window, click on Advanced and put a check mark in Apply repairs automatically.

 

Test the camera.

Hi Dear,  i see In Device Manager. Both Files which u  told me Cameras and Imaging devices are not there... and second step i don't understood Please help me Step by step in Details. How to Fix camera issue.

Part 1

It says to find the camera. it will either be under Camera or under Imaging Devices.

Im my picture, it shows its under camera.

Put the cursor on the camera (mine is HP WIde Vision HD) and right click on it.

In the list that opens, click on Uninstall device.

IF its not under Camera or under Imaging devices, see of there is a device called Other Devices somewhere in that whole list. IF so, expand it and uninstall anything listed in it.

 

Test the camera. IF it still does not work...

 

PART 2

 

In the Search bar, type Control Panel and hit the Enter key.

Go to   Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Troubleshooting\All Categories.

Click the Next button and let it run. Follow any prompts.

Then close it and test the camera.
