Product: HP Probook 430 G2
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

Hello everyone I hope someone will be able to read and answer my query. I have a HP Probook 430 G2, I'm currently using Windows 7-64bit OS. My question is can I update it to Windows 10 Pro? If so should I update also the BIOS and drivers?

Hi:

 

If your notebook currently has W7 Pro installed, you can get the free upgrade to W10 Pro by clicking on the blue Update Now button at the link below.

 

Download Windows 10 (microsoft.com)

 

There should be no need to update the BIOS unless during the W10 PC check it advises you that you must.

 

You can install any drivers that you may need after W10 has completed installing at the link below.

If your notebook currently has the HP Protect Tools software installed, you will need to uninstall it and restart the PC before upgrading to W10.

 

If your notebook has the HP Connection Manager software installed, make sure your ethernet, wifi and Bluetooth are turned on prior to upgrading because after W10 has installed, the HP connection manager software no longer works and any communications devices you have turned off with the connection manager will remain turned off.

 

Once you confirm the ethernet, wifi and bluetooth are turned on, I suggest you uninstall the HP connection manager software, restart the PC and verify all communications devices are working, and then upgrade to W10.
