Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My laptop is telling me that McAfee Security has expired and  Windows Defender is protecting my computer. But when i look at alerts it tells me anti-viral protection is not running. Do I need to purchase aadditional anti-viral software?

HP Recommended

Go into Control Panel> Programs and Features. Select the defunct McAfee and Uninstall it.
