Since last October 2023, the HP Wolf Security - Malware Prevention antimalware Protection Service fails to coexist alongside of other Malware Prevention Software. programs which use virtual memory resources.
Check your Wolf Security settings: Scroll down to the Compatibility section to check if that's your issue.
Also, If the PC was no longer covered under an HP warranty, you may need to pay for a subscription to HP Wolf Definition updates if that was your primary means for malware prevention.

I noticed HP Wolf Security Service had released a new HP Sure Sense & Sure Click version today.
You might want to try that out and see if the problem persists. Otherwise you may have to check your Anti-Virus Program exclusions are set properly to prevent any incompatibilities.
If the error continues, disable the "HP Sure Click Endpoint Service to prevent the operation of the Malware Prevention option and any error with it.
That's what worked for me!

Unless there is a real solution... although most likely Wolf Security is now a subscription service... the work around for me was to permanently change the "Log On" option from a "local system" to an "\Administrator" account. That would effectively prevent the HP Sure Click Endpoint Service from being "started" unless a password was used.
Keep the HP Sure Sense Antimalware Service "Log On" as the "Local System account."
After you reboot, it should prevent the HP Sure Click "EndPoint Service" from throwing an error into your Windows 10 "Security and Maintenance" Report after any changes are made by the latest Windows Updates.
This method effectively prevents restarting of the errant HP Sure Click Endpoint Service...
While still allowing the HP Sure Sense Antimalware to run automatically and not become disabled by the aforementioned service which is now placed into the administrative Log On..
I certainly hope this additional step helps get rid of the error... and also allows you to use a different Security Software option of your own choice.
by the HP Sure Click Endpoint Service which is causing the problem.
