Zbook Firefly G9
Microsoft Windows 11

Customer notified me that their laptop fan was constantly running at a high speed.  I spent three hours trying to upgrade the firmware for a customers Zbook Firefly G9 laptop with no success.  I used Hp Support Assistant which didn't see the system needing a bios update.  I manually downloaded the firmware and tried to install it.  The software would show the bios would be updated to the newer version but once i reboot it just starts the system normally.  Lastly, I tried upgrade from within the bios and the USB upgrade method would not work.  The system would act like it couldn't see the flash.bin file (even though it was there).  The fix on the following HP community post worked properly and I wanted to both thank this end user but, also, post if anyone else with the Firefly has the same issue:  https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Notebook-Software-and-How-To-Questions/New-BIOS-update-F-48-Rev-A-won-...
