hi, how can i download a bios for upgrade this old laptop? the official website have no downloads "https://support.hp.com/br-pt/drivers/hp-pavilion-dv5-entertainment-notebook-pc-series/model/4210552" im using ubuntu and im having some problems that i think a bios update will solve.

There is an f.27 bios, Feb 8, 2012 that might work
I used 7zip to look at the .exe and did not see a pure binary rom file (power of 2 in size)
Temporarily install windows 10 or 11 and run the windows 7 bios upgrade.
if not enough memory then use tiny10 or tiny11
note that win11 does not need to be activated.
Older computer that do not have UEFI bios need MBR. Set Rufus to use MBR and BIOS instead of GPT and UEFI. If your disk drive is 2tb then GPT can still be selected but not UEFI.
Win11 can work even on really old systems and tiny windows 10/11 can fit in 2gb.
Get win10 here (get the ISO)
Get Rufus here

the 4210552 worked in the us-en and I assume that is same model as the br-pt
