Hi @kishan_i77,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out!

I understand that your Victus by HP Gaming Laptop 15-fa0000 camera stopped working after updating the BIOS to version F.31, and it no longer shows up in Device Manager. Let’s try a few steps to resolve this:

Check BIOS settings

Restart your laptop and press Esc repeatedly, then press F10 to enter BIOS.

Go to Advanced → Built-in Device Options and make sure the Integrated Camera is enabled. Save changes and restart.

Show hidden devices

In Device Manager, click View → Show hidden devices.

Look under Cameras or Imaging Devices. If the camera shows up but is greyed out, right-click and select Enable device.

Reinstall camera drivers

Visit HP Support, enter your laptop model, and download/install the camera driver (Realtek/Intel Imaging).

Restart the laptop once installation is complete.

Run Windows updates

Go to Settings → Windows Update and install all updates, including Optional driver updates.

Rollback BIOS if needed

Since the issue started after BIOS F.31, you may roll back to the earlier version (F.30 or earlier) from the HP Support website. Ensure the laptop is plugged into AC power during the process.

HP Support Assistant check

Open HP Support Assistant and run a Diagnostics → Camera Check to auto-detect and fix missing drivers.

I hope this helps.
