Got an issue here...I do own a Compaq CQ58 model and it has a HP truevision hd camera on it. The problem is that the snapshots or videos that i capture with the camera are always mirrored...how do I solve this problem?

I understand that your webcam image is mirrored. Does this occur in all programs? Did you upgrade the webcam software? You are running Windows 8.1, did you upgrade from another version of Windows? Have you tried running the Windows troubleshooter? Have you done all your Windows updates? Have you run the HP Support Assistant ? What version of the YouCam Software are you running?
Open the YouCam software
Right click on the icon in the upper right corner
The window that opens will have your version number
The CyberLink YouCam Mirror is designed to act just like a a mirror if ever you need one. To open the Cyberlink YouCam Mirror, do the following.
- Select Utilities , and then Mirror
- Right- click on the CyberLink YouCam icon in the system tray and then select Launch YouCam Mirror
- Select Cyberlink YouCam Mirror from the start menu
When viewing the Cyberlink YouCam Mirro, the following options will be available.
- Use the available slider to zoom in or out on the mirrors's image as required
- Select the flip button to horizontally flip the mirror's image
- Select the setting button to configure the mirror settings.
