Unfortunately, it doesn't work that way.
You might be able to hire a mobile computer repair technician in your area to come out to repair your computer. The work might is deliberate: The timing is bad and some companies are not making house calls during the pandemic crisis.
HP won't send an HP technician to your house without the Warranty that covers Home Repair options.
If you are willing to take your computer to a local repair house, assuming you can find one that is open, you can get an estimate on the repair, how long it will take, and other details.
HP might accept a case to repair the computer at your cost. Assuming HP accepts the case, you would still have to send the computer to an HP repair depot - it takes time and it costs for labor, shipment, and repair parts.
That said,
- I have submitted a request that someone take a look.
Worth Noting
- Please know that our Community is not HP Technical Support.
- Our request for assistance on your behalf does not influence the outcome: Our request is not a magic back door into HP.
- The time frame (how long it takes) for a response is not controlled by the Community.
- When there is a response, a Community moderator / agent will (should) post back on this thread before using other methods to contact you.
Note to those reading:
- Do not contact random numbers posted in a public or private message by “new members”. Vermin are looking for victims – don’t be next.
- Please do not post any personal or case information here - we cannot make use of the data.
- Posting personal information at a public site increases your risk from rats and scammers.
You can think about what you want to do - if HP responds and you decide not to take action, that's OK - just let the agent know your decision.
