Recently around a week ago, I got an error 43 that I couldn't resolve. here's what i tried:
Restarting the computer
Editing the power plan
Disabling the Fast start up
Windows powershell scan
regedit (even though when it didn't work i loaded the backed up version)
uninstalling the drivers
updating the drivers
updating the host controller
disabling and enabling the unknown device driver
uninstalling the unknown driver
i also checked if it was a hardware issue, but the troubleshooter didn't indicate it as a hardware issue, more of a software issue, since the usb troubleshooter said that the host controller wasn't installed, or was in a failed state, which i don't know how to resolve.
the list goes on, but i need help fixing this issue since it's been presistant against my efforts to get rid of it. mainly i can't use my usbs at all, my mouse isn't working, my keyboard isn't working, but they both work on another laptop. thank you for taking your time to try and help me.

Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.
I appreciate your efforts to try and resolve the issue.
Let's perform a system factory reset in order to isolate and resolve the issue.
Note: Please back up all personal files and read all caution statements before performing a system recovery. Failure to back up your files results in the loss of files and information that you do not want to lose. Click here to perform a System Recovery (Windows 10)

Sorry it's upside-down, but now the error is that the restoration was incomplete and that "the system cannot find the driver specified" any suggestions? Also i just checked details, and it says that the unknown device descriptor isn't letting it reset

Update 2: i researched how to get out of the loop, and i got out but it didn't fix the driver error since it couldn't find it when i managed to leave the loop
Edit: I'm going to try to restore it again and see if it finds the driver, also am I supposed to be om wifi when i do this? Because I put it to airplane mode when i did the first restore.
(Sorry for spamming you, it's just i really need help, cause I've been trying to fix the usb drivers for like a week and i was starting to get frustrated)
