Fingerprint reader/sensor is OPTIONAL. Did you buy that OPTION ?  If you wish, you can buy the following parts and install to your machine

Fingerprint reader Part # M07206-001

NOTE:The fingerprint reader cable is available in the Cable Kit as spare part number M05255-001.

Regards.

I have an HP Spectre x360 2-in-1 Laptop 14-ef0xxx that had a fingerprint scanner installed as part of the original purchase. It worked fine until it did not work at all after a Windows 11 update.  I checked  the Device Manager and did not find it listed there. What do I need to do to get the fingerprint scanner functional again? If it is a driver issue, how do I identify,  locate, and install the scanner's driver(s)? Any other help with this issue is appreciated.
