I have successfully updated the bios.  I'll try installing windows 10 at a later date.

I was able to install windows 10 but the G62 maxed out at 8gb DDR3 ram was just too slow.  I rolled it back to windows 7.  I guess windows 10 was just to much for a 12 year old computer.
