this laptop has been driving me insane, when i first got it it was fine but i reinstalled windows ever since, the laptop doesn't sleep meaning it drains when its in sleep mode, power throttles to 400 mhz whenever i do anything remotely intensive, and has really really poor battery life, i have done everything to try to fix it, i reinstalled windows 4 times!!! reinstalled the drivers extracted the storage driver into the windows installer, still every time the laptop has the same performance and battery issues its borderline unusable unless i use throttle stop, when i open it it takes 4 seconds to open the windows menu and it stays that way until i open throttle stop, i need help i cant get another laptop rn, i cant sell it like this, and i tried to get a hold of hp's support team but since im out of warranty all i get are automate responses and no one picks up the phone, the laptop serial number is [personal info removed] and if anyone knows how to help me i would be really grateful

ive done that from forums ive read on throttle stop and redit same result, same throttling even setting the minimum processor state the clocks dip below that and honestly i am just tired, hp wont even answer the phone and i can talk to an agent on chat even, the hardware diagnostic says it should be fine, sfc scannow says its fine so whats the issue here

i did follow your steps just yesterday i reinstalled windows and had a restore point as soon as it launched before any drivers, and reinstalled the drivers including the ones you said, i just dont want to go through losing my data again and having to set up my apps again, i can even show you the restore point if you want
