Hi @rojena

Welcome to the HP Support Community! We're here to help you get back up and running.

To access the BIOS on your HP Victus laptop, you can follow these steps:

Shut Down the Laptop:

  • Ensure your HP Victus laptop is completely powered off.

Power On and Access BIOS:

  • Turn the laptop back on by pressing the power button.
  • Immediately start pressing the F10 key repeatedly as the laptop powers up. This should bring you to the BIOS setup utility.

Alternative Keys:

  • If F10 does not work, you can try pressing Esc, F2, or Delete as alternative keys to access the BIOS.

Navigating BIOS:

  • Once in the BIOS, you can navigate using the keyboard. Use arrow keys to move around the menu, and Enter to select an option.

Regarding turning off the fan, entering BIOS may not provide an option to disable it completely, as fan settings are generally controlled automatically or through the operating system to prevent overheating.

It’s important to allow the fan to function properly to ensure your laptop remains cool.

If you have concerns about the fan noise or operation, consider updating the system drivers or adjusting the power management settings in the Windows operating system.

If you are experiencing excessive noise or suspect a fan malfunction, let me know if you want help checking for a BIOS update or exploring quieter fan settings through software.

We can fine-tune this together.
