i did that before the hp support thing said its okay, but as soon as i would open anything remotely intensive the cpu clocks would drop to 400mhz it becomes unusable then i used a tool called no dptf that disables that power throttling limit and its been alright, but even after all of that when i open the laptop its a bit slow, and it doesnt sleep it drains when asleep and before the no dptf thing, so i really need any help i am outside the warranty

so i couldnt do the first step i kept running into errors and i was afraid i would mess things up so i downloaded throttle stop to monitor temps and i set the core clocks to 100 and pl1 to 55 and pl2 to 33, i checked the high performance thing on top, and i set that to be the game profile but there is still the issue of the awful battery life and the laptop draining while sleeping

Use <shutdown hibernate> instead of <shutdown sleep> !
