Hi all,

I recently installed Win 7 over Win 10. After win 7 installation completed i couldn't download or install any drivers because the USB and Wireless Drivers didn't install during the installation. I am currently handicapped.

 

Laptop type: hp x360 11-ab0XX convertible

 

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Hi:

 

There are no W7 drivers for the USB 3.1 ports.

 

The Intel wifi card your notebook has will not work on W7 unless you remove it and mask a couple of the gold contacts.

 

If you want to go through all of that trouble to get W7 installed and not have the USB 3.1 port to ever work, let me know and I will assist you further.

 

It will involve reinstalling W10, saving the W7 drivers to your downloads folder, then installing W7 over W10 to create a Windows.old folder and then you can install the drivers from the windows.old folder.
