iPhone SE doesn't share msgs & photos with Laptop's "Your Phone"

I recently switched to use iPhone SE (from Android/Samsung).     The 'Your Phone' app on the HP Envy Laptop is able to connect to the iPhone but doesn't have access to its messages or photos.    No problem using the app with the Android/Samsung; I'm able to access the phone's photos and messages (and also send messages)  using the Laptop..

What software is needed on the Laptop, and what app do I use on the iPhone to make this work?
