keyboard backlight problem

why isn't the backlight of my elitebook 845 g10 ryzen 5 laptop's keyboard not working more than a second after i try to turn it on? is it a hardware issue or driver problem?

Enter the BIOS, go to the advanced menu, then to Built-in Device Options Menu,  Check if you have this option.

i tried the bios setting as per your suggestion and the backlight stays on in the bios but the problem arises when i open the laptop, i can't see any change in the problem, any suggestion?

Check if your BIOS is up to date.

My BIOS is updated, but still, the keyboard backlight setting  in BIOS doesn't work after exiting the BIOS (it works totally fine in BIOS) 

Now, should I stop trying, or can the keyboard backlight be fixed?

the hotkey is not getting installed, no matter how many times I try!

The laptop must have other problems if it fails to install., Use HPIA for  find update.
