How do I make the keyboard backlighting stay on permanently?

See if you have this setting. . .

Go into F10 BIOS setup -> Advanced -> Built-in Device Options -> Backlit Keyboard Timeout. Select 'Never' and save and exit.

Hello!....I appreciate the reply. As soon as my laptop comes back from the repair depot, I will absolutely try this.

My wife has the same machine so I will see if she wants it done on hers first.

I was confused....I do have that setting and your trick worked. I was able to turn it on permanently!...thank you soooo much!
