Hey,
as said above, I can use my laptop at 0%
I don't know how I just can
calibrated my laptop battery quite a few times  
software up to date (every kind)
battery passes every diagnostic with NORMAL

When the battery saver is on an HP laptop, it is designed to help conserve battery power by adjusting various settings, such as screen brightness and background activity. However, it does not change the behavior of the battery itself.

 

When the battery level reaches 0%, the laptop typically shuts down to prevent damage to the battery. The battery-saver mode cannot make the laptop run at 0% battery level; it is more about optimizing power usage to extend the battery life when the battery level is low.

 

However, there might be a static where it might have gotten stuck.

 

Let's try these steps and see if they make any changes. 

 

POWER DRAIN:

Please disconnect all the devices and cables connected to your computer including the power cable and then press and hold the power button for about 20 seconds and connect the power cable back again and try to power on the computer.

CBR:

Press windows key and then followed by the key "B" this time and then the power button for around 3-4 seconds, then release the power button and continue to hold windows+B for 3-4 seconds more.

Keep me posted for further assistance.

hey,
the laptop charges just fine
the issue is windows or the laptop itself can run on 0% when usually that shouldn't happen.
windows for some reason doesn't display the proper battery percentage and can properly run ok when the battery drains till 0%
typically the laptop should instantly go into hibernate after 7% and not run after that step
my laptop can run at 7% hibernate, and then I can turn it on and use it until 0% even though it shouldn't happen like that.
it could be a problem in windows, as I haven't reset Windows 11, but I did try SFC scanner and kept my windows and drivers up to date and windows says it's all bug-free.
