Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

Whenever I launch my game (Doom Eternal) it throttles almost immediately to 0.79 ghz and makes the game lag very badly, i have checked for updates on both windows 11 update and security aswell as hp support assistant, drivers are good (including bios). KIndly suggest any possible fix.
