Hi @Ajjoo,

Welcome to The HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I understand you are trying to resolve the issue of activating the lifetime free Microsoft Office on your Victus by HP 16.1 inch Gaming Laptop PC 16-s0000 (76T56AV), follow these steps:

1. Check if Office is Pre-installed:

  • Go to Start Menu > Settings > Apps > Installed Apps and look for Microsoft Office.
  • If it’s not installed, download it from Office.com by signing in with your Microsoft account.

2. Ensure You're Using the Correct Microsoft Account:

  • If you have a key for lifetime Office, it’s usually tied to a Microsoft account. Use the account provided during purchase or the one tied to your HP laptop.
  • Open Office.com in a browser and log in to your Microsoft account. If Office is included, it should show under "My Account."

3. Run Microsoft Activation Troubleshooter:

  • Go to Start > Settings > System > Activation.
  • Look for the Activation Troubleshooter option. If available, run the tool to help resolve the issue automatically.

4. Check for Windows Updates:

  • Open Settings > Windows Update and check for any updates.
  • Sometimes, missing updates can prevent Office activation.

5. Activate Office through the Pre-installed App:

  • Open any Office app (e.g., Word or Excel).
  • You should be prompted to sign in or activate Office. Use your Microsoft account to complete activation.

6. Reinstall Office (If the activation still fails):

  • If the problem persists, try uninstalling Office and then reinstalling it.
  • To uninstall: Go to Settings > Apps > Installed Apps, locate Office, and click Uninstall.
  • After uninstalling, visit Office.com to download and reinstall Office.
