Hi:
That device is part of the graphics subsystem but it is not the graphics driver.
You need this driver and you have to manually install it as follows...
Run the driver. It will most likely not install the coprocessor automatically.
ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp36001-36500/sp36079.exe
Go to the device manager, click on the coprocessor device needing the driver.
Click on the driver tab. Click on Update Driver.
Select the Browse my computer for driver software option and browse to the driver folder that was created when you ran the file.
That folder will be located in C:\SWSetup\sp36079. Make sure the Include Subfolders box is checked, and the driver should install.
Then restart the PC.
Here is a partial copy and paste of the driver setup information file, which shows driver support for the hardware ID you posted...
[NV.NTamd64]
%SMU51Desc%=SMU51_Inst,PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_0271
If you need the graphics driver, let me know.
You need the graphics driver if under the display adapters device manager category, there is a Microsoft Basic Display Adapter listed there instead of the Nvidia GeForce GO 6150 graphics adapter.
