Hi @eaglemania40

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for posting your query! We're here to help you get back up and running.

It sounds like a Windows update may have affected Miracast compatibility on your HP Notebook 15-ac143wm

Here are some steps to troubleshoot:

1. Check Miracast Compatibility

  • Open Command Prompt (Win + R, type cmd, and press Enter).
  • Run:netsh wlan show drivers
  • Look for "Wireless Display Supported: Yes"—if it says No, Miracast may no longer be supported due to driver changes.

2. Roll Back Display & Network Drivers

  • Open Device Manager (Win + X > Device Manager).
  • Expand Display Adapters, right-click your Intel HD Graphics, and select Properties > Driver > Roll Back Driver.
  • Do the same for Network Adapters (especially your Wi-Fi adapter).

3. Update or Reinstall Drivers

  • If rolling back doesn’t work, download the latest Intel Graphics and Wi-Fi drivers from HP’s support page.
  • Install them manually and restart your laptop.

4. Enable Wireless Display Features

  • Open Settings > Apps > Optional Features.
  • Search for Wireless Display and install it if missing.

Let me know if any of these steps help! If Miracast still doesn’t work, it may be a hardware limitation due to newer Windows updates.
