i bought usb-c adaptor from company called (6 in 1)promate , the problem with this adaptor that it has an LED around it and it even if my laptop is turned off it still working and that kill my laptop's battery life . after i turn my pc off i have to manually plug it off and as human i forget sometimes . i think the problem is cause of the usb-c is charging and transfer data it will still work , if so i need a way to turn the charging method in the usb-c or at least while it is turn off

Please try from Device Manager
(a) Go to USB hub,
(b) Right click the right port,
(c) Select Properties,
(d) Go to Power Management tab,
(e) Tick Allow computer to turn off .....
(f) Click Apply/Ok
