Hi
I am trying to change the scale% when I print to one increment. It is now at 10 Increments. When I go to print and change the size I press the down or up arrows to change the size. for example if the print size is 100%. I hit the down arrow and it goes to 90% size and so forth. It used to go from 100% to 99% to 98% etc. I do not know what HP did to change that. I never had that issue before. now they want me to pay a service fee to help me fix this. This happened to their product on its own. I do not understand why this happened. Does anyone know a you tube video or step by step instructions to figure this out.

Welcome to the HP Support Community.
Let's try to do a root uninstall and reinstall of the software:
Unplug any USB cable, if any, before doing this.
1.) In Windows, search for and open Programs and features
2.) Select your HP Printer
3.) Select Uninstall
4.) In Windows, search for and open Devices and printers
5.) In the Devices and Printers windows look for your HP printer. If you see it listed right-click on it and choose 'Delete' or 'Remove Device'
6.) Open up the run command with the "Windows key + R" key combo.
7.) Type printui.exe /s and click Ok. (Note: there is a space in between “printui.exe” and “/s”)
8.) Click on the "Drivers" tab
9.) Look for HP Printer driver. If you see it Click on it and click Remove at the bottom
10.) Select Ok
11.) Select Apply and Ok on the Print Server Properties windows
12.) Close Devices and Printers
13.) Open up the run command with the "Windows key + R" key combo
14.) Type c:/programdata and click Ok. Go to Hewlett Packard folder, remove any printer related folders & files.
15.) Restart the computer.
Once done, please download and install the software from here:

Hi
Thanks for trying to help me but it did not work. Maybe its the way I did it. It is still moving in increments of 10 instead of 1 when I want to change the size of the print text on the normal letter head paper. Anyway thanks again for all your help. I will just type it manually. HP wanted me to pay for the service. Not happening lol. one more questions. do you know of any other pcs or lab tops that are better than HP products. I am thinking of getting a different laptop in the future that is not HP.
Thanks Again,
CJ

Unfortunately, I would not be able to help you with any other brand's information. Which Envy Printer do you have?
If it's possible, please share the screenshot of the screen you're seeing to help you better with this.
