Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

unable to download software to run my CNC  because it does not come from app store . need to change some setting  How do I do this..

Sounds to me like you have a notebook with the W11 in S-mode operating system, for which you can only install apps from the Microsoft Store.

 

In order to install programs from anywhere, you need to switch out of S-mode.
