Hello,

Would you advise on the following question:

When an HP 15-db1246ur is switched on for the first time, what will the user see on the screen? In other words, what interface does it have—BIOS or UEFI?

Hi:

 

Since the notebook came with FreeDOS, the BIOS may be set to legacy.

 

But I can't say for sure.

 

You should be able to change the settings to UEFI by going into the BIOS and disable Legacy mode.
