You're very welcome.

The only other suggestion I can offer would be to try manually installing the driver I posted as follows.

Go to the device manager, and click on the PCI Simple Comms Controller needing the driver.

Click on the driver tab.  Click on Update Driver.

Select the Browse my computer for driver software option, and browse to the driver folder that was created when you ran the driver file I posted.

That folder will be located in C:\SWSetup\sp66636.

Make sure the Include Subfolders box is checked, and see if the driver installs that way.

Try this driver, and that would be the last suggestion I can offer.  I have no idea why the driver I posted didn't work since it clearly shows support for the hardware ID you posted.

This package provides the Intel Management Engine Components Driver for supported notebook models running a supported operating system.

I checked the file contents and this driver also contains support for the hardware ID you posted.

If that doesn't work, I suggest you google the issue.  There are too many different suggestions for me to tell you which one might work but the above one seems the most promising.
