i just want to know that will changing OS changes the serial number of laptop?

No -- the product serial number has nothing to do with the Windows version.

 

But if you change the OS, you will lose the Windows activation as that is tied to the OS that comes preloaded on the laptop and does not transfer to another OS version.

but my laptop serial number was changed . it was hp pavilion 15 and it had so many issue within 2 month so after fixing it for 2 times i randomly checked serial number and it was completely different.

The serial number of the laptop is hard coded into the BIOS firmware -- and you have no way of changing that, nor does Windows.

 

I suspect you are looking at something else.
