so I installed Intel driver support assistant , and ran driver update search , I found 2 updates , one of them is to my intel graphic card. but next to the update download button was a warning :
Installing this Intel generic graphics driver will overwrite any customized driver from your Computer Manufacturer (OEM)
does my laptop have an OEM modified intel driver ?
can I use intel's stock driver update ?

Hi:
If it only has the onboard Intel graphics, it would be OK to update the driver with the latest one from Intel.
If it has a discrete graphics adapter, such as a Nvidia or AMD, plus the Intel HD graphics adapter, then don't do it because it will most likely cause the switchable graphics to no longer function correctly.
