Welcome to the HP Community --

Unfortunately, none of the provided information tells us your Product Number or computer model name.

It might not matter --

If your question is about using a SIM card for connecting your mobile broadband carrier to your computer, the checks are something you can do yourself.

Lots of computers come with a place to plug in a SIM card.

Not all computers have the necessary hardware (WWAN module) to access the SIM card and it's subscribed network carrier.

Confirm that your computer has the necessary WWAN Broadband module installed in the hardware.

Reminder >>  NOT every computer includes this hardware module.

  • Check that the WWAN hardware is installed
  • Check / Install any needed driver for that module
  • Install a supported SIM card that can connect to your active Mobile Carrier Network

=============================

Open your system's support pages

 HP Product Home

Open Category Setup & User Guides

Find and open the Service and Maintenance Guide (name varies)

Search for "WWAN"

This is your check for whether the required WWAN broadband module is an option for your system hardware.

It does not tell you whether your computer has the hardware installed.

Next,

Use the Device Manager to find / display information about an installed WWAN module.

Example – Control Panel access to Device Manager

Control Panel > icon view > Device Manager

Tab View

Select View by action types

Check Show hidden devices

Select Drivers by type

Expand section Network Adapters

Find LT / LTE in list

    NOTE >> Device names vary and might be different from the example...

Right-Click on the module > Properties

Tab Driver

Compare Driver version to the driver listed in system's support page Category Software and Drivers

The driver category is perhaps "Driver-Network"

The name of the driver might include "WWAN"

=============================================

Use Settings > Network & internet to display information about an installed SIM card.

The SIM card, when connected to an active mobile account, works with the WWAN hardware module to connect your computer to your mobile network carrier.
