i downloaded windows on steam deck ACPI\VEN_PRP&DEV_0001 is unknowndevice i need help locating

The only place I could find the driver you need for that device was on the Microsoft Update Catalog website.

 

I have zipped the file up and attached it below.

 

You will need to manually install the driver because there is no executable file.

 

Download and unzip the attached file to its folder.

 

Do not do anything with the files in the folder.

 

Go to the device manager, click on the ACPI\VEN_PRP&DEV_0001 device needing the driver.

 

Click on the driver tab. Click on Update driver.

 

Select the 'Browse my computer for drivers' option and browse to the driver folder that you unzipped.

 

Make sure that the 'include' subfolders box is checked and the driver should install.

 

Here is a partial copy and paste of the driver setup information file which shows driver support for the hardware ID you posted:

 

%PRP0001_eve_desc%=NO_DRV,ACPI\VEN_PRP&DEV_0001

%PRP0001_nocturne_desc%=NO_DRV,ACPI\VEN_PRP&DEV_0001
