Hi @marks427,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If the error code is "0x800f02b," it generally indicates a problem with the Windows Update service. Here are a few steps you can try to resolve the issue.

  1. Restart your computer: Sometimes, a simple restart can resolve temporary issues.

  2. Run Windows Update Troubleshooter:

    • Press Windows key + I to open Settings.
    • Go to "Update & Security" > "Troubleshoot."
    • Click on "Windows Update" and run the troubleshooter.
  3. Reset Windows Update components:

    • Open Command Prompt as an administrator. Right-click on the Start button, select "Command Prompt (Admin)."
    • Type the following commands and press Enter after each.
net stop wuauserv net stop cryptSvc net stop bits net stop msiserver ren C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution SoftwareDistribution.old ren C:\Windows\System32\catroot2 catroot2.old net start wuauserv net start cryptSvc net start bits net start msiserver
  4. Check your internet connection: Ensure that your internet connection is stable and working properly.

  5. Update drivers manually:

    • Go to the HP support website (https://support.hp.com/).
    • Enter your printer model.
    • Download and install the latest drivers for your printer.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
