The HP Support Assistant states that there are several software and driver updates that need installing, but if I try to install, all of the them fail to install.

 

The download, appear to go through the install procedure, then fail.

@stevegos Greetings from the HP Community!

If you are having problems updating HP Support Assistant or downloading and installing updates through HP Support Assistant, download and install the latest version of HP Support Assistant from the HP Support Assistant website.

 

If problems persist, make sure your Internet access is working correctly (that is, you can browse the Internet and view Web pages), and the installed security software (firewall) is not blocking the updates to HP Support Assistant.

 

If the issue persists, please uninstall the application using the steps mentioned here and then, reinstall the same using the above link to resolve the issue, also check if it works on a new user account.
