Old HP laptop still showing in Support Assistant.  How I remove?

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding Removing an old PC from HP Support Assistant! 

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.  

  

If an old HP laptop is still showing up in your HP Support Assistant and you want to remove it, follow these steps:

 

Open HP Support Assistant:

  • Search for and open HP Support Assistant on your current device.

Navigate to My Dashboard:

  • Once the application is open, click on My Dashboard to see the list of recognized devices.

Remove the Device:

  • From the list of devices, find the old HP laptop you wish to remove.
  • Click on the device to open its details.
  • Look for an option to remove or delete the device. This option is usually a trash bin icon or a button labeled Remove Device.
  • Click on this option to remove the old laptop from HP Support Assistant.

Confirm Removal:

  • Confirm the removal if prompted by following any additional instructions.
