hi paul, thanks for your response. when i try to install the software from the link you sent me i got a warning that "This type of file can harm your computer, do you want to keep CASLSetup.exe anyway?. What should i do and what does the message mean. thank you

I guess the warning is that it is an exe file, and you should trust the source before running it.

 

The file comes from HP, and I have given it to several forum members that are having the same issue as you are.
