Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 in S Mode

I am interested in buying a laptop from a coworker.  It is a HP 15 dy1091wm with s mode.  I need to be able to get microsoft word/excel and outlook possibly Powerpoint.  Will it allow other software to be installed

Hi:

 

On notebooks with S mode, you can only install apps from the Microsoft store.

 

You also have the option to switch out of S mode so you can install other programs not available from the Microsoft store.
