While I can't guarantee that the recovery disk set for the dv7-6c95 will work on the 6c00, I would agree with you that since the models basically have the same 6cxx and are both Intel based models, the recovery disks you used on the 6c95 will work on the 6c00, and I also agree with you that I doubt there is one set of recovery disks specific to every single model out there.

 

I would say they probably work on a model sub-series, and there may be different sets for AMD notebooks and Intel notebooks.
