I would like to ask help with an issue that I am facing with my HP 15 DY2033NR 15.6 inch Laptop, Intel Core i7, 8GB/256GB SSD, Windows 11.
In order to ensure that everything works fine, I bought the following HP Items:
1 - One P 15 DY2033NR 15.6 inch Laptop, Intel Core i7, 8GB/256GB SSD, Windows 11
2 - One HP G5 Docking Station
3 - Two HP X27 Monitors
I have connected both monitors to the docking station using 2 Display Port cables and from the docking station to my HP Laptop I have connected via USB Type C, however, I am not able to stream the video signal from my laptop to the 2 monitors. I did a test with my work HP laptop and works fine.

The specs of your machine is
https://support.hp.com/lv-en/document/c07946563
It ONLY has 1 SuperSpeed USB Type-C® 5Gbps signaling rate port which does NOT support Alt mode nor Power Delivery. You can NOT use it to
- Charge your machine,
- Connect to an external monitor with/without hub/dock/adapter
If you wish to connect 2 external monitors (only), you can use
Monitor 1: HDMI direct cable,
Monitor 2: Using a Displaylink Certified USB-A to HDMI adapter such as
For more connectivity, please use
True Universal Docking Stations
Regards.

Regarding your post, initially I would like to ask you to confirm what it is the USB C version that HP 15 DY2033NR has.
I did a test and connected a USB C table from my laptop to my cell phone, delivering power to my cell phone.
I am looking forward to hearing back from you

I have the same issue. My laptop is
HP Laptop PC 15s-fq2000 . I was told from HP that I cannot add monitors with this laptop due to the USB C port is not for video and also something about the refresh rate. I've tried everything.
Monitors: Dell with follow Ports: VGA and DSP
Cables I've used: HDMA to DSP, USB-C to DSP
Docking station I've tried. Dell display link with a USB C out put. Has hdmi and dp ports.
Nothing works. Even my hdmi to dsp direct to the hdmi port on my laptop doesnt work.
It does reconize the display hub in Device manager but still unable to add the 2 monitors. Can someone respond that actually found a solution and its working? Thank you!!
