Question, i already purchased a 120 hz replacement screen for the omen 15 15-dc1054nr . It appears fine in bios, and startup screens, but no backlight/video in windows. IS there an easy fix for this? or do I need a different screen? I really want something better than the 40% gamut on the factory screen. its horrible. lots of white bleed, severly uneven tones, and only 6 bit colors. Thank You.

Perhaps I was not clear enough. I'm looking for a Better Screen than the one it came with. The default screen had bad light bleed, bad uneven brightness, and horrible color gamut!!! So No, I did not get another of the same screen! What i'm hoping to find is a better one. Yes, i know it voids the warrenty. Yes I know how to replace it. Yes I know i may have to get another video cable. ( I Already have the original display out of the laptop). So all i need is to find a BETTER one that will fit and work even if i have to get another cable as well!!!
( I was also hoping that perhaps there were a way to get the one i already purchased to work. Just in case someone knows of how to do it. its the N156HHE-GA1 -= )
Thank You,
Gary C.
