Updated to windows 10 ver 1803.  Graphics card is Radeon R4.  Trying to add a monitor but there is no dropdown under display settings.  Multiple displays has a button to detect a display but does not find anything.  Have a new 23 inch Dell S2319nx and it says no HDMI signal from your device.  Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.

Use the ATI tool to set up multiple displays by following the steps below:

  1. Connect the displays to the notebook or docking station with the respective cables.

  2. Click Start, enter ATI Catalyst in the search field and select ATI Catalyst Control Center when it becomes available in the search list.

  3. You will be prompted to set up individual displays. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the setup.

Your monitors should now be set up and functioning. Also, using AMD auto detect tool you can update graphics drivers, Click here

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.

Thanks for your reply.    I have updated the AMD driver using their auto detect tool.  I have Radeon Settings - Adrenalin 2019 version 19.1.1 installed.  However there is no Eyefinity tab.  From what I read Radeon Settings replaced ADM Catalyst Control Center.

Any other suggestions would be appreciated.

I would request you to:

Perform Windows Update and HP Support Assistant:

To check for updates now, select the Start button, and then go to Settings  > Update & security  > Windows Update, and select Check for updates.

Install updates from HP Support Assistant: Go to Download HP Support Assistant to install the tool.

And, also update BIOS: Follow steps from the link: https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c00042629

Keep me posted for further assistance.

I did all the updates you mentioned as best I could.  So I did Windows update and updates from HP support assistant, and I did the Bios.  Still no luck.  I went ahead and purchase a new HP desktop so I no longer need to add a big screen to my HP notebook.  Thanks for you efforts but this can be considered closed.
