Hi,
I want to confirm if my new laptop, 15s-fq1002na, supports USB Type C Alt Mode. I have a USB C 7 in 1 adapter that has HDMI. It works on my work laptop, so I suspect this new HP does not support Alt Mode or PD. I'm struggling to confirm it though.
Symptoms I'm seeing are:
Unknown USB Device Port Reset Failed in Device manager
and:
BTHUSB Event ID 34.
The local adapter does not support an important Low Energy controller state to support peripheral mode. The minimum required supported state mask is 0x2491f7fffff; got 0xffffffff. Low Energy peripheral role functionality will not be available.
Or is it some kind of power plan issue?
Any help greatly appreciated

No, it does not support Alt mode. Its specs
https://support.hp.com/au-en/document/c06536674
It only has 1 USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-C™ (Data Transfer Only, 5 Gb/s signaling rate) port.
Regards.
