@nit2 Thank you for posting on HP Community,
For an accurate solution I'll need more details:
- Could you attach a picture or screenshot of the blue horizontal lines? so we know exactly what we are dealing with?
- Is it only on the task bar?
- Have you attempted any steps on your own before posting on the HP Forums?
- Did you run a hardware test on the computer using the F2 key during a restart?
In the meantime, please try with an alternate/external monitor to check if the line appear on it as well, so we know if this is either a hardware or a software issue, and if you don't have access to a monitor or TV, please check if the issue appears on the BIOS screen by tapping on the F10 key during a restart.
Please reply with the details for further assistance.
