Few days ago I noticed a long horizontal pink line on top of my screen . Initially I ignored thinking that one thin line does not affect much but gradually when I start my laptop it started getting bold as number of lines started getting increase. Now when I starts my laptop sometimes 1 or 2 more lines appears sometimes the lines remains same like the last time when I had shut downed the laptop . One more thing around 1 or 1.5 years ago my screen corners started getting black. Now what should I do ?

@Harsh2005, Welcome to HP Support Community,
Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue
Connect your laptop to an external monitor or TV using HDMI or another compatible cable.
If the pink lines and black corners appear on the external monitor as well, then the issue is likely with your laptop.
Also, refer to this guide: HP Notebook and All-in-One PCs - Troubleshooting screen issues (Windows 11, 10) | HP® Support
I hope this helps.
