HP Notebook - 15-db0004dx

I enjoy playing video games on my Notebook Laptop and it usually ran well until now. My HP Notebook Laptop has been running into various graphics-related issues alongside general hardware issues such as my AMD software constantly telling me that my graphics card/processor (AMD Ryzen™ 3 2200U) is outdated despite my updating it constantly + my laptop is up to date too. When I launch certain games like Fortnite or any game in particular; it runs very awfully and I reach 30 fps and constantly freeze. I even get blue screens talking about a kernel-related issue. When my computer even finishes the blue screen I have to wait 10 minutes just to get back into my computer due to it being stuck on the Welcome Screen.

I'm contemplating just erasing everything off the laptop since it's running so badly and I don't want to. I've had it for years and I really want to use it. If there is anything I can do to fix this, please help me.

I wasn't able to find the "Other Devices" category, but I got everything else to work. Here are the screenshots below, Screenshot 2022-11-04 at 7.57.23 AM.pngstuff2.pngstufff.png

      • An available BIOS update resolves a specific issue or improves computer performance.
      • The current BIOS does not support a hardware component or a Windows upgrade.

I ran the amd download that you listed and it finished successfully, afterwards it told me that it was outdated. I also checked my and software and the same thing appeared as well, stating that my version was outdated. What should I do?

Hello @strety101

(1) Last chance would be to let Windows install <Optional updates> ( including drivers )

What Are Windows Optional Updates, and How Do You Install Them?

See section <How to Find and Install Windows Optional Updates>

(2) Run <Windows Optional Updates>, everything that comes shall be installed

(3Restart Windows

(4Test again

I did all of this yet my graphic card still says that its outdated, what do I do?

Hello @strety101

My options are exhausted... The offical HP (graphics) drivers are outdated and HP prevents you from installing the latest drivers from the graphics card manufacturer (AMD or NVIDIA).

Kind regards
