Hello,
I've been using HP pavilion G6 lap top for almost 10 years and since the first years, I've been struggling with the switchable Graphics and CCC.
The problem is when I installed a new windows 10, the Switchable graphic control panel and CCC both stopped working.
I recently downgraded to the previous windows 7 and ever since I've done that, Neither Switchable graphic nor the CCC would open.
I've had this issue for a few days now (ever since I installed windows 7). Although on device manager it shows the display adapters both are installed properly, every time I want to open CCC or Switchable graphic control panel following error appears:
"No AMD Graphics driver is installed, or the AMD driver is not functioning properly. Please install the appropriate AMD driver for your AMD hardware."
When I check the HP support assistant there's no driver update or messages available. I've manually installed the "sp58894" (The suggested perfect driver for dynamic switchable graphics available on HP website), but no luck yet.
Please advise with the best possible solution this issue could be resolved with.
Thanks in advance.

That's because HP does not provide Wn10 display drivers for these older laptops and the MS drivers do not work, nor do the ones you download from AMD.
That said, there are folks on this forum that have access to drivers I do not have. If one of them comes along and points you to a wording driver, you are in luck. Otherwise, you are stuck with the generic drivers and would have to reinstall the older Windows OS to get full driver support back.
I am a volunteer and I do not work for, nor represent, HP

Well I was hoping for the same folks to help me out.
I'm stuck with the so called newest version of my Graphic card driver that do not let me use CCC at all.
As you said neither AMD nor intel have the double core graphics of hp laptops.
I guess It's time for me to upgrade to a new laptop, which is sad since this one is still working perfectly fine.
Thank you, really appreciated your experience, at least now I won't waste time looking for a proper driver.
