All drivers up to date. All Windows updates installed. Tried all existing suggestions. When I'm using my stylus on OneNote or Microsoft Word, I cannot draw a line without there being a gap/skip in the line. Same thing happens when I'm writing, so I can't write a complete word at all. Even when I go over and try to write the letter again in the same spot, nothing appears. This was not a problem last year; happened suddenly this year one day when I was working. Stylus buttons and clicking and everything all work fine. Please help, I really need this fixed so I can work. Stylus works fine on other laptops as well. Tried changing the batteries too and it didn't help.

Hi @P53TS,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
As this is a hardware issue, I'd suggest you Contact HP in your region regarding the service options for your computer.
If you are having trouble navigating through the above options, it's most likely because the device is out of warranty. If yes? please send me a private message with the region you are contacting us from. Check next to your profile Name, you should see a little blue envelope, please click on it.
Have a great day!
